On 28 October 2025, the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic (AMO) approved a concentration involving the acquisition of direct exclusive control by AVON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED (Birmingham, United Kingdom) over NATURA &CO UK HOLDINGS LIMITED (Bristol, United Kingdom). As a result of the transaction, AVON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED will also indirectly acquire control over AVON Cosmetics, spol. s r.o. (Bratislava).
AVON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED forms part of a diversified corporate group with operations across several sectors, including textiles, technology, consumer goods, manufacturing, and media and entertainment.
The acquired undertakings belong to a group that operates globally as a manufacturer and retailer of cosmetic and drugstore products marketed under the Avon brand.
According to the AMO, the concentration has a conglomerate character. After assessing the market positions of the participating undertakings in the affected markets within the Slovak Republic, the authority concluded that the transaction does not give rise to competition concerns or risks of distortion of competition.
The decision entered into legal force on 28 October 2025.
