parts and accessories for motor vehicles

On October 13, 2025, the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic (PMÚ) launched an investigation into a major proposed acquisition in the automotive parts sector. The case concerns OESL International, LLC (Delaware, USA), which seeks to gain full control over several companies that are currently part of the OESL division of the Continental Group.

If approved, the deal would also give OESL International indirect control over ContiTech Vibration Control Slovakia s.r.o. (Dolné Vestenice) and ContiTech Vibration Control, s.r.o., currently in liquidation. The transaction falls under Sector C.29.32: Manufacture of other parts and accessories for motor vehicles.

The PMÚ has invited the public, including businesses and individuals, to share any comments, concerns, or information about the proposed deal. Submissions are encouraged as soon as possible, ideally within one week of this notice, so that the PMÚ can review them during the first stage of its assessment.
